Before you request any technical assistance we recommend you take a look at our trouble shooting guide.
Please verify that you have followed all the required steps described in the installation guide and carefully checked the points listed in the "verify installation section.
Please use the sciadmin/dxadmin GUI to investigate and manage your cluster.
If your Dolphin cluster does not work properly, please check the following list:
Check that the green LED indicator on the adapter cards is lit. If the green LED indicator is not lit, the nodes may not be connected properly. Make sure that the cable is properly inserted.
Check that the adapter cards are configured. To check the configuration of the adapter cards, run the diagnostic utility - scidiag/dxdiag. The automatic configuration utility are not always able to configure a card (due to the card being used). A reboot will normally resolve this issue.
If the driver cannot find the adapter card after the installation is complete and the machine is rebooted, the problem could be an interrupt conflict with another system card. The interrupt line should be selected automatically by the operating system. Check the interrupt line number in the BIOS setup and make sure that it does not conflicts with other cards in the machine.
